For the keen DIY’er then the Genesis framework by Studiopress is a great place to choose a bunch of pre-made themes for your site. Just choose which one you like best, install it and off you go. There are some great designs here.
WordPress Plugins are great for enabling your site to do what you want it to do. They are snippets of software that can be added to your WordPress site to add functionality to it. We have a few favourites like;
Embeds great looking social media share buttons to your posts or pages (like you see at the bottom of this page), making it easy for your engaging content to be distributed on a wider platform.
A professional, simple and flexible contact form creator that you can place on any page or post helping your visitors to easily get in touch with you without the need to copy and past your email address.
No WordPress website should be without this plugin that helps prevent your site from getting inundated by SPAM comments. It comes with your WordPress installation straight out of the box although you will have to follow the instructions given to activate it.
